Driver called dispatch and informed that the shipper damaged products during loading. The product was leaking or dripping from the trailer. They signed and noted the BOL with comments and said the receiving would take care of this with no problem. When the driver arrived at the receiver for unloading, they discovered the damaged product and refused to continue unloading until the driver res-stocked, cleaned, and pulled the damaged product out of the trailer. My opinion is that this is not the way to treat carriers; it is wrong to force drivers to clean up their own mess.
